Program Overview
Would you like an experienced career specialist to guide you through your job search and career path? Could you benefit from FREE career training to boost your skills & qualifications?
You’ll partner with a workforce development professional with one-on-one services to build a goal-oriented career plan and connect with individualized job search tools, career reboot resources, and career training opportunities/funding.
One-on-one career and training services support individuals along their career pathway while helping to meet the needs of Frederick County’s high-growth, high-demand industries. While there is continuous open registration for one-on-one services, eligibility requirements apply.
One-on-One Resources
Job Search Tools: Assistance with online applications, resumes, interviews, networking & more
Career Reboot: Considering a career change? Explore career pathways and local labor market data, access skills, interest, and aptitude assessments, and identify existing skill gaps you can work on to help increase your marketability.
Career Training: Help to identify appropriate training, credible providers, industry-recognized credentials, and financial support to help cover the costs associated with short-term occupational training.
General Program Eligibility
Frederick County Resident
18 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Males: Registered for Selective Services (if born after 12/31/59)
*You will need an updated Maryland Workforce Exchange profile.
