Internship Guidebook
One of the biggest challenges for college graduates is finding that first job upon graduation. Creating an internship program at your organization is an efficient way to sustainably recruit talent. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, when sourcing college graduates, the number one way that employers find new hires is through Internships/co-op student pools at their own organization.
A successful internship program can be an invaluable resource for a business and can provide access to a talent pipeline rich with career ready individuals. Aside from improved recruitment, internship programs can also improve retention and reduce costly turn-over.
This guidebook is a non-exhaustive resource designed to help employers establish and develop an internal internship program. An internship program can be used to attract individuals who are transitioning careers, college students, and/or high school students.
Take look at how one of our local employers Rehab 2 Perform uses internship programs in their workforce development strategy.
